Recruitment campaign (2025), branding and publications:
Bath Spa University
THE BRIEF
Bath Spa University is a creative institution specialising in the arts, social sciences, education, and business. With campuses in both Bath and London, it attracts students from across the UK and around the world.
As part of their 2025 UK undergraduate recruitment campaign, I was tasked with supporting their in-house creative team by designing a variety of digital ads for social media and out-of-home advertising.
THE WORK
I was tasked with creating a set of advertisements that built on the energy and distinctive style of their 2024 campaign while optimising it for digital platforms. The evolution of this campaign prominently features both cut-out and full-bleed imagery, along with a fresh and contemporary colour palette maintaining its engaging aesthetic. In addition to developing these social media assets, I was also asked to refresh their postgraduate prospectus and produce supporting visuals for their website.
Other projects include designing an 80th anniversary mark for the School of Education, celebrating the university’s legacy and impact while looking ahead to the future of education. The mark is themed around rings of growth, with loops that echo the rings of a tree as a symbol of development. The School was built on strong foundations, and each ring represents the strengthening of those foundations over time.
I also designed enamel pin badges for incoming students and refreshed their 52-page student and staff magazine in line with the updated brand. Through creative typography, photography and bold colours, I produced a publication that really stood out and resonated with their diverse audience.
